About the head Coach of Coach Jeremey LLC
“Keep on keeping on.”
That’s more than a motto — it’s the way I live, coach, and serve.
I’m Jeremey — Army veteran, trauma-informed educator, adaptive fitness coach, and someone who knows firsthand what it’s like to fight your way back.
In 1993, I was medically discharged from the Army after breaking my neck. Later in life, I spent about five years as a wheelchair user due to an autoimmune condition. Most people would have written off movement, health, or even hope.
But I didn’t stop — I adapted. Through fitness, mindfulness, and sheer grit, I rebuilt a life I’m proud of. Now I help others do the same.
🧠 The Whole-Person Approach
Everything I offer weaves together four core elements:
-
Mindfulness – breath, awareness, and emotional regulation
-
Movement – strength, mobility, and adaptive fitness
-
Connection – human, animal, spiritual, or personal to the client
-
Collaboration – with your current care team for consistency and safety
Whether you’re here for fitness, healing, or growth — we’ll work together to create something that supports your entire self, not just one piece of it.

Professional Meets Personal
I hold a degree in Family Life and Community Services from KSU, and I’m certified in a wide range of disciplines including:
-
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS – NSCA)
-
Certified Post-Rehab Specialist (CPRS)
-
Special Strong Master Trainer (Adaptive/Special Needs)
-
Nutrition, Virtual Training, Kettlebell, Group Fitness & Kickboxing
-
Florida K-12 Professional Educator – ESE, Health, PE
-
3rd Degree Black Belt in Karate
-
Trauma-informed and neurodiversity-aware trainer
But more than certifications, I bring lived experience. I’ve worked in forensic mental health, taught in a youthful offender prison, and coached students from Pre-K to high school — including my current role as a behavior coach in a Pre-K through 12 lab school.
I’ve also served as the Chair of Florida’s Model Threat Management System and currently serve as the back up District Threat Management Coordinator. These roles have sharpened my ability to assess risk, support regulation, and build safety-first environments — critical skills when working with trauma-impacted clients or vulnerable populations.
Why I Do This and What Working With Me Looks Like
I’ve coached people diagnosed with autism, veterans diagnosed with PTSD, seniors diagnosed with Parkinson’s, adoptive families, and competitive athletes. The one thing they all had in common?
They were looking for someone who truly gets it.
Someone who understands trauma.
Someone who listens before they push.
Someone who sees the human — not just the diagnosis, label, or limitation.
That’s what I offer at Coach Jeremey LLC.
Whether you're booking an adaptive fitness session, trauma-informed wellness consult, or a martial arts life skills series — my promise is simple:
We’ll go at your pace, with your goals, in a space where you feel safe, respected, and empowered.
Because fitness isn’t about grinding until you collapse.
It’s about building the resilience to keep on keeping on — and I’m here to help you do just that.
